They Both Won
For those who wanted to actually listen, McCain won. For those who were already decided, their candidate won.
Yes, I know I am partisan, but I would suggest that Obama came off better due to presentation and appearance (like JFK v. Nixon) in the first revamped half-hour. That may have carried over to the rest of the "debate." BUT, if those folks tried to watch the whole thing with an open EAR, and, if , national security was the major long-term issue, then McCain won hands down.
Unfortunately, most people under the age of 40 probably did not understand nor grasp McCain's references to the past.
History may be doomed to repeat itself. I hope that we are not the next Roman Republic about to die.
Barry's Flubs
"Al qadea and the Taliban crossing the border..." from WHERE??????? Yet you claim you don't want to attack Pakistan with your own personal surge?
Forgive me if I am late on this, but I just watching it now.
Oh, BTW, in Barry's first half-hour he claimed that he would go line-by-line on Federal budgets and veto waste...
Although Reagan Democrats (and all conservatives) are for that, it is NOT Constitutional!!!

Fire Pete Bonaparte
Stanford last year was his Russia; OSU this year was his Waterloo.
The man's ego betrays his ability to recruit. He surrounds himself with lackeys. His Machiavellian behavior is well known in the NFL (see his backstabbing with the Jets and New England).
Heave ho!

Help George Obama
Help Barry's brother since he is not doing anything to help George who lives in a 6x10 hut in the slums of Kenya on 12 dollars a year! Click on the post above.

Whoopi Goldberg = Moron
cClick on the posts title to see her silly comment about being worried about becoming a slave again if McCain is elected from this morning's The View. I might be more bothered about McCain's response since strict constructionism deals with the Constitution and its AMENDMENTS (such as the 13th that outlawed slavery).

What does Obama Cling to?
Click on the post above. He has jettisoned his religion of 20 years (sort of), and I doubt he owns any guns. Given that "real" Americans of the heartland are almost swooning for Palin and the McCain ticket now, what will Obama cling to?

Obama the Pig Farmer
Obama's ego is soooooooo big that he still doesn't get it about the pig and lipstick remark. The crowd thought he was talking about Palin based on their reaction: much laughter at, if it was merely a descriptive line about policy, would NOT have been so "funny." If he was really in tune with his audience, as Dennis Prager has pointed out, he would have immediately recognized is unintended faux pas and corrected the audience. He did not.
So, is he clueless or did he really mean to attack Governor Palin? Only Obama and God know.
What makes me think it might be a little bit of both was his outrageous defense of his remark on the Letterman show on Wednesday night, because he still reduces her to her makeup. Hillary Clinton was right in the primaries: Obama and his campaign is sexist.

Did Gibson Lie
Click on the link above. If ol' Charlie did his prep personally, then the answer is a resounding "yes." If not, then he was given bad information by his staff. Now, using the logic of the Bush haters, it doesn't really matter - it's the same thing: a lie!!!
Republicans, and those that don't allow emotion to run and ruin their thought process, know that their is a difference. The bigger question might be "Will Charlie apologize tonight?"
Don't bet your life on it.

You've Gotta Love that Pit Bull with Lipstick
Governor Palin did an awesome job. Barry and Biden probably won't sleep very well tonight.
